Malena's 5th Birthday Party

It was so fun to be a part of Malena's first birthday party! And a party it was! I've never even had a birthday party like this one and I wish I did!  I wanted to join right in with the girls and play dress up and try on all those pretty Princess dresses! She is such a cute girl and all her little friends are just beautiful.

What a sweet, happy, lovely couple. They were just charming. I loved their energy and I loved that they were willing to do whatever I told them, even if I had to demonstrate how with my hubby first:) I'm so happy for them and their wonderful, bright eternity.

I love Africa! 

I am so used to the typical Utah/California culture, so when I am involved in a wedding here, I am just refreshingly surprised at how different they are. This cute couple was sealed in the Johannesburg LDS Temple and it was so special to be apart of. Definitely a first! And thankfully, not the last. Even though it is so unique and different here, the feeling is the same -- excitement, joy, pure love.
