The Serengeti

I was going back through some of our safari pictures and realized I never posted these ones on my blog!! I wanted to put up some of my favorites, narrowing down thousands to these. These were from our big trip back in May to Tanzania & Kenya, to the great and amazing--Serengeti. I hope you enjoy!

These animals are stunning aren't they! I had such a fun time being a "wildlife photographer"...I felt like I was on National Geographic. I bet God just had the funnest time creating these animals. What do you think!?

Faheema's 25th Birthday

This was a new experience for me, and it was fantastic. This lovely lady and her husband were celebrating her 25th birthday at a beautiful, intimate venue in Northcliff. This location was fabulous, the flowers, the decor, the service, the food, the birds, the weather...everything was superb. 

Happy Birthday Faheema! I hope your day was everything you hoped it would be.

What a sweet, happy, lovely couple. They were just charming. I loved their energy and I loved that they were willing to do whatever I told them, even if I had to demonstrate how with my hubby first:) I'm so happy for them and their wonderful, bright eternity.

I love Africa! 

I am so used to the typical Utah/California culture, so when I am involved in a wedding here, I am just refreshingly surprised at how different they are. This cute couple was sealed in the Johannesburg LDS Temple and it was so special to be apart of. Definitely a first! And thankfully, not the last. Even though it is so unique and different here, the feeling is the same -- excitement, joy, pure love.
